CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Browns are lending support to the victims of the Dayton mass shooting.
Nine people were killed 37 people have been treated for injuries, including 14 with gunshot wounds, following the shooting at a popular nightclub district of downtown Dayton.

To help the community, the Browns and the Cincinnati Bengals will team up with the NFL Foundation and donate a combined $100,000 to the Dayton Oregon District Tragedy Fund.
The Dayton Oregon District Tragedy Fund was set up to help those individuals most directly impacted by this tragedy.
In addition to the Browns and Bengals donations, the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Texans are also teaming up with NFL Foundation and The Gene and Jerry Jones Family Foundation to donate a combined $150,000 to the El Paso Community Foundation Victims’ Fund.

The El Paso shooting at a Walmart that occurred less than 12 hours before the Dayton shooting left 22 dead more than two dozen wounded.
"Our sincerest sympathies go out to those affected by the recent incidents in Ohio and Texas, both of which have deeply impacted the entire country," NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said. "We are heartened by the strength of both the Dayton and El Paso communities and will continue to find ways to lend our support."
